I am a RCR historian buff and was wondering when did the RCR decide to have Regimental Pioneers as part of it's (order of battle) and does anybody have any idea as to when this part of the Regiments heritage came about!? From the British Army in the Victorian Army in Canada 1840's till 1871 Huh

Any information on this topic would be appreciative  Smiley
