We were not buddies ,however ,i was wondering if anyone knows of George Warren ,where he has gone, career etc. He and Errol Gapp were of course involved in an heroic effort in Cyprus 74-75, following which Mr Gapp was apparently studying at university to become an officer and Georges goal was to one day become RSM. I do know he was a bit of a character. Just interested to find out . Thanks, ranrad, Ron Andrews

I was in Cyprus during the incident you mentioned, Errol Gapp went on to become an RSM, the last time I saw George Warren, he was out of the forces and for a time was a drill instructor at the Police college in Aylmer, went from there to work for a major window company and rose quite high, as far as I know he is still somewhere in London..Rick Rankine

Last seeen in London. He now owns the window company Rick mentioned and was, at the time, talking about buying a large yacht, retiring and sailing to Newfoundland. Lives in London. I believe Riv Kennedy visited him at his house at the time, maybe you can use the registry here, email him and he can help you out.
