Mike,
Second hand info: I spoke with Dave Shirley about 12 years back, and he mentioned that Dave Fells succumbed to Cancer. I’m afraid I don’t have much else. Sad really; Dave and I had many a good times, from Cyprus to London and Germany, and beyond.
We rented a car for summer leave (1980) and we drove down to Monte Carlo; what a great time, and the memories will last for ever… He is missed, and will always be remembered; especially in our stories!
