Yes and yes!
WO B.W. Howe, Lt P.F. McNalley, and Sgt T.J. Fenton. Also MCpl Dave Leblanc of to the far left.
Quick story about Mr. Fenton: I was asked to drive a Brit back to his platoon house during the evening, and once at the house, they plied me with a great many Keo Brandies. On my way back through the airport, going around a round-about, I hit a road marker and flipped the jeep, sliding 40-feet on the driver’s side.
Well, back at camp the MP’s came for me, and Tom Fenton, told me not to say a word: so I said nothing…absolutely nothing. The MP’s actually had to call in Tom to get me to talk :-o)
Anyway; afterwards, he took me back to camp, and to his room, where he offered me a drink to calm the nerves, and was the only one who asked how I was doing: Great guy in my books!
They all were!
