Hi Paul
None of your pictures downloaded.Hope your can still forward this one.
Stayed at the Fly Inn many times during 67-68.
Returned in 1975 but the Fly Inn was taken over by a bunch of hippies.
Bert and Kobi sold and bought another one called Hotel Brian.

Hello...Gary
I did't know they sold the place and bought another.I do know Bert passed away
several years ago, cancer I think.I don't know what became of Kobi.
Spent many a good time there with great memories.
I am not sure what you mean when you say my pictures never downloaded.
When I click on the subject it comes up on my screen like all the other
pics in other subjects.I hope I am not doing this wrong.
Do we know each other or what, unit, base and years there.
    Cheers .....Paul

Hi Gonnie,

How are you and Dave doing?  I heard you both moved back to Amsterdam after Dave retired. It's been a long time since I've seen you both.  Dave and I go back a long way, we knew each other in Toronto before being Royals.  I met your son here in Petawawa about 10 years ago when he was in the RCD's.  He said he wanted to get out and live in Amsterdam...did he?
Would you please wish Coby a happy birthday for me and thank her for many fond memories.  She's a great lady!  She was like a Mother to so many of us who were so young and far away from home for the first time.  She is loved and remembered by many.
Tell her she still owes me a neck tie and I still have a craving for salt herring!  LOL   Wink

Fond Regards.......Paul White

Gonnie,
I noticed you're listed as a Guest under your name.  I'm not sure if you're able to see the Email (envelope icon) graphic under Paul's photo, but if you do see it, just click on it and it will show Paul's profile, and whatever info he wished to make available. I just checked, and he doesn't have his email address hidden.
Membership is free, and it will allow you to send private messages, plus I believe see other options on the site that Guest Visitors cannot see.
You can also choose to be notified when someone responders to a topic you've posted to, or are interested in following.
Plus, you only need to leave what info you want, but your email address needs to be valid in order for the site to email you your password if I remember correctly. Smiley

I knew a CSM Dave Draper in Germany, and my wife sometimes worked with Connie at the Canex, any relation?

Long time since I saw those shots. Brings back old memories. Stayed there all the time. Was back there in '77 but was closed up. Joe & Mary had opened up bar around corner from Derby Bar - Haven von Taxel and were still there then.
