Hi, I'm W.O. Irving (Moses) Glover, retired.  Served with the 1st and 3rd Bn.  Would like to get in touch with some of my old army buddies.  Served in the 1st Bn. from 1973-1981.  Served in the 3rd Bn. from 1981-1989. And the reserve until I retired in 1995.

I would like to hear from someone who has served with me during these years.

Moses,

Believe I served with you as I was in London in the early 70's. I was in Delta Company with Maj. Barry Glover and CSM Heffler. Saw your name and the old recall clicked in....I'll have to give Moe (Rick Morris) a call and make sure the momory is correct. Check on of my previous post's as i posted some names you are probably familiar with. I left London served with the Airborne with the regiment and at CABC in Edmonton. remustered when they tried to promote me to WO and went airforce for a few years. Long story short I was released with  3A and after 20+ years. I know work for King Ralph in Alberta. Hope all is well. E-mail at rcb01@shaw.ca  if you wish to correspond further.

Regards,

Hello Moses, I think the last time I saw you was at a mess dinner before the Bn rotated back to Germany.  That was in 88, the year I left the Regt for the airforce.  I'm still serving and back in Winnipeg, sure feels strange when I drive past Kapyong barracks and see the place deserted.  Where are you hanging your hat now ?  I spent 14 years in Trenton before coming here, lots of the guys retired there, Gerry Oberwarth, Bucky Buchanon, Matt Brumsy, Steve Whitehead, George McFadden and a few more .

Hey Bucky, say hello to Gerry for me since he hasn't entered the modern age and acquired a computer.

Moses...How you doing bud, I ran into Terry Daley in Sackville N.S. not to long ago and we had a few and talked alot about the old days. Where are you these days and what have you been upto? Drop me a line. I see alot of old names here. The N.S. Branch of the association is having another reunion in September. We had one here 2 years ago and there was about 300 people. It would be a hoot if some of us younger guys could get together at that time. There was alot of older guys there but it was still alot of fun. People there were like CSM's and RSM's when we joined.
