Pepe is down in Greenwood now as an ATC.....talked to him on the phone a couple of weeks ago.
A buddy of mine seen him at a Pre-Rememberance concert....noticed the medals and thought that this guy was not ATC all his career so he asked where he came from. He told my buddy he was 1 RCR a while back, so my friend call me and asked if I knew a Alexander Madaire....I said no....he said well he was 1 RCR years ago,  so I said (on the other end of the phone) "pepe"...he repeated "pepe", well good ol' pepe was in ear shot and heard the name and said "who the @#*& is on the other end of that phone! Apparently nobody calls him that anymore so he was delighted to hear it. Needless to say we got talkin so I will be heading down sometime soon for a beer or two with him.

I see Pepe from time to time. He is doing well. He came to a dance that my band was playing at, he had Brake with him(another old Royal) we had a good time. I will let him know that his photo was posted.

BJ, would that be Glen Brake....I think that was his first name. I served with him in Lebanon when 2Cdo augmented the sigs sqn. from Kingston. He and I had some hairy experiences doing recce's together.
