In opening up several so called "REPLYS" , I am now noticing that several of these have nothing to do with our membership or REGIMENTAL NEWSW ETC at all , but are nothing but personal advertising and I guess also a possibility of containing A "VIRUS"
Note to ADJT: Are you aware of these?

I second that George im getting tired of seeing that garbage on our site.I dont know if there is anything that can be done besides makeing it a privet site.

The Adjt has been tryiny to work a way to keep them off, but as we are an open board, so as all can get on , it is difficult.. it is why the board has been shut down off and on...he has explained it elsewhere..i just do not open them at all, then they cant spread any crap to your machine,, ranrad

Thank you everyone for your replys. Very much appreciated.
I assumed each of you were not opening them and as you say our ADJT has mentioned it a few times. I wrongly assumed he had been able to correct it ( My error) and I know he is very busy these days and cannot do the impossible. I am amazed he is able to do as many things as he does.

Maybe guests could be restricted from putting links in their postings. Possibly all members would require 5 posts before being able to put links on also. This should weed out many spammers. Not sure if these options are available on this board.

Just finished getting of the phone with Frenchy in the Kit Shop. He informed me that the Regt. Adj. Capt Mike O'Leary has retired and the new Adj is Capt Tim Robinson. Located with RHQ in Petawawa. The new Regt. WO is John Rolo. This is all new to me,goes to show I don't get out much.lolo

Hi Buzz. I was at base last tuesday. yes all that is true, however I hear that RHQ Office here will be operated by the staff that is left for at least another year. Also the Kit shop is to remain here with limited supplies, but with all ribbons and RCR insignia etc.
