Hi Mike.  you have agood point about our Indian ancestors who were here first.   Yes they may complain a bit.

During WW 2 we were given a Lance corporal's stripe to wear upside down  on our left sleeve.   Of course after the war ended this was discontinued so any vets.that were wounded, like myself, lost the recognition. Ypour colour scheme sounds more practical. Shpould contact Gen Vance and a couple of others and suggest it.

Good idea , George about contacting  the Gen... and i hate to burst the bubble , but our history books are in peril.. they discovered a few years back , and have now dated findings by an old friend of mine Walter Felt, who discovered remains and artifacts at a small provincial park , called Besant, just west of Moose Jaw, Sk..that these artifacts pre date the Indians by dsome 4000 yrs..in other words they, Aztecs from the area of Mexico as we now know it were in Besant 4000 yrs before the Indians , or First Nations as we know them arrived over ther Bering Strait.. so historians are now going over all this with a fine tooth comb..but the evidence so far  show sthis to be true.. Walter just passed on in Jan. of this yr at the age of 103...he was a heck of a man and person...ranrad

It sure is George.. at least with me, my brain gets so dang excited when i find new stuff about history, especially our history...and yes Walter was a very nice person and man, and so inquisitive.. i believe it gave him an extra zest in life...and he was really a humble man...one of those friends, one really wants to have forever...ranrad
