To Mr. Jack O’Brien and the Board of Directors.

I would like to thank you and all those people that were involved in setting up and running the Reunion weekend. I have to say that without a doubt it was one of the best functions that I have attended, while I was still serving or since I retired in 1996.

Right from opening the door of the Legion on Friday afternoon and up to leaving after the service on Sunday, to me, it appeared that everything went like clockwork. It was well planned well put together, and well run.

I personally did not hear a negative word about the entire weekend; rather, everyone that I talked to had nothing but praise for the event.

It was really good to see so many old faces that I personally worked with during my career and some older faces of the people that, for whatever reason, took the time and energy to shape me into the Soldier that I turned out to be. I have nothing but utter respect for those Soldiers.

For all those that could not attend the Reunion you were sorely missed, but I can guarantee you that you were not forgotten. The stories about old Section commanders, Warrants, and officers were flying around like Bullets. They sure brought back a lot of fond memories to everyone that was there.

I am looking forward to the next Reunion, and hopefully getting a few more of the members out that were well missed this year.

Again, I would like to thank you and everyone that was involved in setting up and running the Reunion weekend.

Job well done.

Pro Patria.

I also would like to thank Jack O'Brien and the other members of the organizing committee. A job done excellently. It was a great weekend of meeting again, with many old friends. I enjoyed myself completely. A standard for future reunions has been set.

Thanks: Rick

Like Randy said, it was a ball. I even had my picture taken with B.C.(RSM). There were guys there that I have not seen since 1977. Scotty had that white hair when I knew him in Germany in 1969 lol. Saw mad there and all the boys it was fun and very well done.
