Hey Fred. I will not forget the events that took place at the Reunion this past weekend. Very memorable. To see friends, fellow soldiers, that you worked side by side with, and trusted was just fantastic. To see Randy Watts, Steve Ells, Tim McCully, Doug Clarkson, and the list goes on and on was just well no words can desdribe it. Alot of stories were brought up, and a hell of alot of laughs. We sure did share alot of memories. Names that I have not heard of in a very long time, that was something else. My wife of 5 years who had not known anything about the Military surely got a bit of taste. She also truly enjoyed it. I would like to thank everyone who was involved in organizing this 125th reunion. They did a fantastic job. Alot of laughs, alot of bending of the elbows, and alot of memories that I will not forget. Pro Patria.

My god, what can i say. The weekend was so moving that when i got back to my home (HQ FOB-Madoc) I was engaged in unloading my bike and my thoughts were on the comrades who I just had the best time of my life with, when all of a sudden I was overcome by emotion and had to run into the woods to fight it and not let my daughter see me. Troops, it's been so long since i have been able to let that go, it's an issue that i have been discussing with the Doc for over a year. It took this past weekend to finally give me a bit of relief. Thank you to the organizers of the reunion, thank you to each and every one of you that attended marching with you again gave me goose bumps the entire parade I am just so full of excitment still today over this. It was hard to pull myself out of K-town and even harder waking this morning knowing that it was over. Pro Patria !!

Cool, Terry, thanks for responding! Hutch should have already contacted you by now i'm sure. I received your message from Fred about the bayonet. The kit shop only brought 2 so I grabbed them both up and Hutch volunteered to deliver it to your door. You let me know when you get it and if you are satisfied with it. I kind of figured you where probably out for the long weekend doing some family function thing. I was telling the fellows at the reunion about my visist in May and told them if they ever come to your house to wear sweat pants so they can stretch. Good laughes about the various kit that festoones my Harley after leavin your place as well. The straps work great and yes I have made coffee on the stove at road side. Terry Hanna sends his regards and wants to hear from you soon. You get yourself hooked up on the rcr message board and all the guys are there waiting. It is closer than Facebook for us , terry so GIT ER DONE me son! Take care, still waiting for that CAV patch that you wanted, soon as I receive it, it will be on the way to you Brother. Bye for now Tim

Well said and from the heart Brother! I was lost when I went back to work after our "stovewatch chat' at 0 dark 30 and it wasn't just sleep deprivation.
Hang in there Tim and knowthat there is an Army (litterally) of Brothers out here that care. Proffesionals have their place and so do friends.

Great, thanks for the offer whitey. Of course I take anything like that and keep it with honour, but the only things that go on my vest are things that I once wore, and things that pertain to supporting the Troops through CAV. You can send any badges to ...747-73 Livingstone Ave. East Madoc ON K0K-2R0. Wish you could have made it too the re-U whitey, guess we will just have to arrange our own little gathering soon aye my friend. Talk too ya soon Bro! Tim

HEY TIM, I'LL SEND SOME OUT AS SOON AS I CAN. I'M REALLY SORRY I MISSED THE REUNION, BUT LIKE YOU SAID WE CAN MAYBE HAVE OUR OWN REUNION SOME TIME. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOME OLD FRIENDS FROM THE BATTALION ON FACEBOOK, AND WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A GET TOGETHER WITH SOME OF THE CREW FROM CYPRUS 84-85, NORWAY 84, RV ETC. I THINK IT WOULD BE A BLAST. TAKE CARE FOR NOW TIM, AND WEAR THOSE BADGES WITH PRIDE, YOU EARNED THEM.

I hear ya Tim. I've been bumin a bit myself. Back to workK After a weelend party has never been harder! I may have to go back to Health Canada because I can telawork and have more flexible hours than here at DND. The Directorate chief (CWO Ramsay, great guy) offered to let me go on assignment for a year and if Nicole gets better I can come back to DND with no hard feelings. Gota love that "let's make this work" mentality the good SN NCOs have and use when it counts.
Tim please contact me Buddy I want to send something out to you and I need your grid ref.
