This year will be the 65 th anniversary of our INVSION OF SICILY. Even though 65 years have past, I can still enjoy the thrill of heading for shore on that very rough Mediterranian Ocean. Laughing about the Italian shore gunners firing there artillary and not being able to hit the broad side of a barn door. Each time I think about it "A RUSH OF ADRENELIN STARTS FLOWING ". It is an event that one, having gone through it WILL NEVER FORGET.
I note that several of you are meeting in London Barracks to celebrate the day. My sincere best wishes to all of you. As the only remaining living member of the Windsor, Ont, Branch, We are also celebrating the day at the Windsor Yacht Club, where we hold all of our meetings etc. We shall toast the day to all members of the RCR 's.
Pro Patria to all . George
