125th Parliament Hill Parade.

It is this Saturday, two days away. Is anybody going? I would love to but I can't see it happening at the moment. Should anybody happen to attend, please take a camera and get some pictures for us semi-ole buggers who can't make it. Thats goes double for the meet and greet later at the War Museum.

Mike:

I was escorting two American friends, who are friends of The Regiment, and I was never so proud in all my life to be a Royal!

MGen Holmes represented us in all his glory while as usual being totally friendly and down to earth.

The young men and women (there were some) of The Regiment who are soon bound for Afghanistan are dedicated people who know what they signed up for.  Watch out for more battle honours to be added to our Colours.

Having a few login problems with photobucket/computer problems so I forwarded your pictures to our resident photo master (Jim Hickson).

I would, considering Jimmy's penchant for paying attention to detail,    expect them to be front and present at any time.

He was in my company in Afghanistan. A 52 year old section commander who can still run a mile and a half in under 9 minutes. Then he stretches and has 3 smokes.
