Hi Brian

Well it has been along time. The last I heard Derek was at Comox I think, but that was years ago. What is new with you?
Take care.

This is starting to look like a gathering of Germany guys so it will have to stop. Gents hows everybody been doing after all these years? I am in Meaford teaching young soldiers to be just like we were many moons ago (we could be in trouble) anyway some of the guys are still doing the job McGougan is a Sgt in 2MP Pl in Pet, LCol seallars is the CO of the Argyll and Sutherland reserve unit down in Hamilton and JC Chalmer is out of the JTF and is now a Cpl SAR tech candidate. Anyone heard from others.

Hi Brian,

Glen from the Fire Department in North York I chatted with and emailed with a few times... Hi Glen, I think I still owe you a lunch! LOL Spencer (Speeeener!) Ford is with the Toronto Police Service; not sure which Division however. Brent Snake, now that guy was great to work with; funny as hell. if I recall, and this is wiping away some major cob-webs here, he was originally from 'The Peg"; so he may be back home. Bill MacKinnon (LOL) My memory of Bill if this is the Bill I am thinking of; is one time I went to his place in Germany and he showed me a trick his room-mates did to their cat. It involves a sock and an orange and I think it was described as "Elephant Man Sock Kitty!" or something like that. Despite his twisted sense of humor, the boy had major AFV skills and I believe ended up remustering to the Intelligence trade. I knew Brent was looking at a remuster at least in 1995 because I was interviewed by SIU while still in the service on his security clearance. I was in Petawawa at the time.

Turner... (Ted?) the first name I might be wrong on, the 3rd BN Photographer in Germany left the service and I think he moved to Toronto to establish his dream photo studio called Silhouette. W.O. Freemont, well not sure what happened with him. I do know his wife is also in our Intelligence Section picture we took in Germany actually walking down the road in front of BN HQ. Not sure whatever happened to Capt Koch. The man with the most awesome laugh in NATO. LOL

Take care

Chris

Hi Chris,
Spotted your name and thought I'd say Hello.
After leaving the Forces in 1992, I went into the IT field and been there ever since. For most of the last 9 years, been working as an ex-pat in the oil and mining sectors, mainly in Africa (currently in Botswana and DRC) but also had a two year stint in Siberia. It was interesting comparing notes with Russian guys who'd served on the other side of the wall around the same time we were in Baden.
Ran into Ed Turner back in 1995 in the Kootenay region of BC, about the only contact I`ve had with any Royals since switching careers. it`s good to know the man managed to get his business together, since the man I saw was having some clear issues adjusting into a civilian mode.

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Nice to see you on here. I often wondered over the years how you were doing. I kind of figured computers would be the world you would go to eventually. We all talked about it enough, yourself, Bob Nadeau, myself and others of course. Bob I still keep in touch with. He was doing some private security contract work in Iraq for I believe it was 18 months or so. He resides in Texas. I work in risk management for a property development firm in Toronto. Remember Dave Townsend? I think he ended up eventually with a police service in around the Sudbury area. If I recall he was from Coppercliff or in around there.

I have your email address so I imagine you have the ability to check via webmail. Will send off an email to you later. Take care Dave.
