I think I see Doug Cambell  in the back row... and Gary Hazlett a couple to his left. Maybe Paul Weston beside Gord Romard. I heard through the grapevine (the sauna at the YMCA-snicker) that Gord is going to be the RSM of the Lincoln and Welland regiment here in Niagara.

Top picture, a couple more familiar faces, R.D MacDonald and Al Lussier, Spelling of Al's last name could be of line.

Most of these have already been named but I might get an extra few

Top Pic: Top Row: 4th from the left Steve Gobuty
second row: Third from the right Mark Miller, second from the right Gord Romard
Third Row: Fifth from the left Dave Preeper, second from the right Belesevicis??

Next Pic: Top row: fourth from the left Warren Fayle, sixth from left Rick Power, in the centre Deslaurier
second row: from the left Neil Reece, Gordie Windsor, RD McDonald, on the right hand side of the guy in the middle is Burnston?? Burnside?? something like that, sixth from the right is McKenzie, and on the end is Bill Johnson.
third row: second from the left Al Lussier, CSM Olson
Bottom Row: third from the left is Rooster Evans, the guy holding the flag on the left hand side is Dennis Gauthier, fourth from the right is Deano Louvelle, second from the right is Steve Gobuty.

Next Pic: Johnny O'Quinn

two pics after that: Rick Fortune

In all of the pics I recognize alot of guys, just can't put names to faces, I was also in Charles Coy at the time of the second pic, don't know why I'm not there, not sure if that's the whole Coy?

BJ you could be absolutely right, trying to remember the timeline, I think it went something like Hall Beach NWT in June, RD MacDonald was my section commander, Al Lussier Pl WO, got back from Hall Beach, then Bloc Leave in July, then Petcon in August '80 just before TQ4 cycle starting in Sep, can't be exactly sure though. Can't be exactly sure why some of the guys would be in the pic and some aren't, AVGP course would explain it.

So BJ still Diving? Had some great times diving in Cyprus in 89/90 gotta dig up pics and post 'em, take care!!

PS...Seen Dick at home In Pouch Cove, NL, mid-May. Still in Shearwater, and says he's gonna do a few more years with the zoomies until they walk ( or roll) his a** out the door.   Wink
