my name is ramona, my father richard (aka: dick, chief) taylor was stationed in fort york, germany for the majority of the 1960's. He was a native man from curve lake first nation in ontario.  i was actually conceived in germany! lol. my mom and dad barely made it home to canada to have me.  unfortunately my dad passed away in 1974 when i was 5 and i have been trying for years to find old friends, comrades etc.. of my dad just to know a little more about him.. if anyone recognized his name or my uncle hugh cameron taylor, could u please send me a message. any info about my dad would be greatly appreciated.. i still have his RCR clothing, etc.. and my daughters take them every year to school at remembrance day and talk about their grandfather they never knew. i just wish i had more info for them and this is why i am on here.......to learn more about him not just for my children but for myself also..thank u in advance for any help, it is greatly appreciated!

Hi:
I knew a Chief Taylor who served with 1 RCR 1962 to 1965.  He was a real character.  I beleive he was with mortar platoon.  Jim Hickson would be the person to get in contact with, Jim is a walking memory bank.  You can find Jim's e-mail on this site.
