The lone person in front is Abe Doney. Just a couple of years ago.

I'll end the suspense. Top row L to R Mike Barrett (1 RCR), Glen MacKenzie (2 Gds, 3 RCR), Mike Donahue (3 RCR) and yours truly (3 RCR) and obviously all of us proud members of 2 CDO in Edmonton. What a posting!!!!!!!!!

Abe How are you doing?

Staying out of trouble I hope.  However, I don't think Glen (Savage) McKenzie was ever in the Gds.  What year did they change from Gds to 3 RCR?  If he was in the Gds, it was only for a coffee.

Another question for you Abe

Why were we sitting on the steps of Mullin Block?

Hi Mike:

They changed over in '71, so I think it's quite possible Glen was in the Guards. We were waiting for the bus to take us to mountain school. This was a Sunday, I believe and we'd just finished the Maroon Beret Course on Friday.
