HEY TONY, GREAT PICTURES!!!! SPENT A FEW YEARS IN ADP - 1 RCR AND FIRED THE TOW A FEW TIMES. IT WAS ALWAYS A GREAT RUSH. STILL HAVE THE END CAP FROM MY FIRST FIRING (WAS TOP OF MY TOW CLASS). STAFF GAME ME THE END CAP WITH A PLAQUARD SHOWING MY NAME AND DATE OF FIRING. IT IS SOMETHING I HAVE TREASURED FOR MANY YEARS. SEEING THESE PICTURES DEFINITELY BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES.

Hey Clair; Glad you enjoyed the pics. There my favorites ! I got to live one of my dreams by spending 5 yrs. in ADP in Germany 78-83 I got to do every job in the plt. including my favorite Dvr./Storeman 7D Whith my good freind Tom Whitehead At that time we werent allowed to carry live TOW rds. in the 548 , so we started carring 60 cases of Heinenkeins " Green Gernades ! " Which allowed tus too have many a good time ! P. S. Im very envious of your plaque ,It must be very dear to you ! 7D Roger Out !

Hey Tony, your right, loved the pictures. And yes it was great honour to be given the end cap, something I have treasured these many years. I remember trying to switch to 3RCR ADP in the hopes of being based in Germany. Was there for leave while on tour in Cyprus and loved it. What a base, it had everything a young soldier could ask for. Even the mess served great food, including a seafood night including lobster. Unfortunately my wish was not answered and I stayed in London. Again Tony, thanks for the memories.
