MCpl Junior McInnis (McInnis P.T.A.) passed away on April 10, 2008 at London, Ontario. Junior joined The Regiment in 1961 and spent 30 years in 1RCR retiring in 1991. Junior was born in Glace Bay, NS in 1943. Funeral service for Junior will be held at Westview Funeral Home, London, Ont., on Monday April 14 at 1100 hrs. A good soldier, good friend and a good man. This also shocked the hell out of me. Me & JR hung around togetter in Germany 62 t0 64. We also bought a car togetther in Germany, We sure had lots of fun and lots of beer together and our trip to England was the best time of my life. I had plan on going to London this year to see him,After a long search I found where he lived and after 44 years ,I was hoping to meet up with him.My condolences to the family Rest in Peace Jr until we meet again. Donald, I was just talking with Dave Boyd and he said that Art was a brother of Jr and that he died of cancer also and that was a few years ago.
