Yes - I new he looked familiar....I've been sitting here, but his name just kept slipping by.  It's funny, when you've been away from the troops for so long, the old names seem to fade away - thats why this site is so important!!   Wayne, if you see John Barnes, please say Hi!

Wayne,

Charlie was my PL WO in 1985 as well until the change of command after RV85.

Steve Young, Danny Wade, Hobbs, Ben House, Wayne Gillman, Charlie Zimmerman, Pat Turpin, 2Lt Helmeister.

Dave, you were in stores I think with Dave Warriner?

I broke my ankle on RV 85, and went into stores with Donny Cross, as temp help.

Back in garrison, Gene Keo took over stores when Cross was posted, and since I new Gene from ADP in Germany when I was first in, he got me into stores.  After Gene was Ernie Lajeunesse (Ernie and I went through TQ3 together – seems a long time ago).  Ernie was only in stores a short while, then Donny Smith took over.

You mention Dave Warriner(?), I seem to recall him hanging around stores all the time, but not as the CQ.

Frank is the only one I know. Served in the Airborne together on more than one occasion.

Dave, you are right - I stand corrected. I was in M Coy until change of command, then went to O Coy for Cyprus. I was one of the guys who went to Calgary with Sunset Ceremony group and then back again for AVGP course. Spent too much time at the Grant during that period to have clear memories
