First I must apologize for the late entry. Al Meecham put me on to this one and it took awhile to get the information. Pte Pat Doyle passed away on 09 Jan 2007 in St John's NL, Pat served with 1 RCR from Jan 21. 1954 to Jan 21 1957 he was with the Core Of Drums.

Pte Ernie Lucas passed away on 06 Mar 2008 in St John's NL, Ernie served with 1RCR from 21 Jan 1954 to 21 Jan 1957 he to was with the Core Of Drums.

My codolenes to the families and friends of Pat and Ernie.

   To Pat and  Ernie,s families I extend my belated condolences and sympathies.I served with both for a time,and was deeply saddened at hearing of the losses of yet two more fine Royals and Newfoundlanders.To Don Marche,many thanks for your effort in making this info possible to be posted.
