Although I do not recall ever meeting Leonard curtis, it is always very sad to hear of one of the older survivors leaving us, My very sincere wishes for the familys comfort in their loss.
Does anyone know if he served in ! Battaliaon  in Sicily or Italy in 43 / 44

Hello George

No Leonard Curtis served with me in 1 RCR. He was born in 1940 and passed away in 2007. He would be too young to have seen service in WW 2.
