LCol Archibald, he was a good man for Esprit de Corps, used to love the Bn Parades when all of a sudden he'd just say "OK Troops, gather round, gather round" and the whole Bn would just kinda gather round him in a semi circle, then give us a talk. And I remember (can't be sure of the year, but I think around 85-86) Freedom of the City parade in London, he walked up the front steps of City Hall to the big glass doors pulled out his sword and banged on the doors with the Butt end, Christ man I thought he was going to go right through those doors! Take care guys!
