Hi BJ:

That trooper, whoever he was, did not need to "close the disengaged eye".  There were

always some marksmen who could shoot with both eyes open.  Looks like we have one

of them here.

Well I want to say that it looks like Scott Thiel, but I'm not sure that he was in Pioneers in 1988, I think he came after. I'm having a real hard time trying to remember who was in Pioneers at the time, definitely know its not Moe, or Davey Leblanc. Hell for all I know it could be me, I don't remember the photo being taken, but I was one of the few guys that wore the chin strap under the chin, and not on the chin because of the beard, i'd say about a 70% chance that it's me......ha ha ha LOL
