To Kirk Ironsides right is Art Simmons, and to Rob Veary's left, the WO, is it Lajunesse? (can't be sure of the spelling) but I think at the time he was the Battle School CQ?

I was talking to Garth about several months back; after he left the military in Greenwod, he drove trucks for a few years.  He is currently living in Dartmouth, NS, and 3/4s of his way through school to become a parole officer.

Garths a good man, and a good soldier...funny to boot <smile>: we were posties together, stationed in Greenwood, and this young guy, came to the door one day, and started to piss in Garths cornflakes about something or other - then he ended by saying something, like...your only a F*****g postie anyway....  Well Garth was back in Sgt mode, and this guy was 1 verb away from peeing his pants.  Charlie McCarthy (RIP), and I could not stop laughing, as everyone in the HQ building was stunned to see this Cpl postie, all over this bluesuit.  And the admin Sgt, was an old 8CH guy...good man as well; he walks down the hall, and told Garth to put it back in his pants, and looked at buddie, and said...how did you make out - did the boys take care of you?  Some fun times in that office - 4-posties, 3 of us RCRs, and 1-Medic...we lost the medic and Terry Bud showed up, another RCR; it was like old home week.
