BJ, Buzz, Whytie:

In the top photo, the guy at the back in the middle, and in the bottom photo on the left holding the shovel with the bald head, I tagged him in another photo I think I called him Schnieder or something, I know he had a German last name and if I remember correctly it was more like Moeller or something close to that. Rick Proctor and I used to call him "Hans Muller" but I think Moeller is closer to the correct spelling, ah can't be sure.

Hey Whytie:

I'm surprised I didn't recognize old Steve Powell, I'm still in contact with him on Facebook, he's in 3RCR now, still in Pet. Things here in Kingston are good, a little pissed I couldn't go to the Ramp Ceremony this afternoon for the young Strathcona Trooper coming back, but I guess some of have to work, can't make it to all of them I guess. Take care man.

I had a small incident too Terry (nothing near like yours though). Myself and my partner were at C100 OP, when there was a comotion about 50 yards away at the Greek 2 man OP. There had to have been about 10 or more yelling, pointing and cursing (?) in Greek. I was just a snot-nosed 130lb-soaking-wet kid who just got his first hook about a week prior. I went down to see what the hell was going on. I rounded the corner to see what the Greeks were so pissed off about and there in the yard by the old Maple House (?) where he wasn't suppose to be, about 15 feet from the Greek OP, was the biggest, ugliest, humongous, Turk soldior I have ever laid ons pointing his AK(?) at the Greeks. I positioned myself between them and told him he was not suppose to be there and had to leave now. He then pointed his wpn at me (from the hip posn).  Well I just stood there with my FN slung, smiled (hopefully confidently) and patted all of the whole mag of 20 rounds of 7.62 I had in my breast pocket. About this time Mike, my buddy on our OP, had phoned in to the line house. Meanwhile the Greeks were still yelling and saying in broken english, 'No be there! He no be there!' Well, I was finally getting a bit perturbed and turned my head and barked at the Greeks 'Shut the f**K up you f*****g sh**heads! YOU are only suppose to have two, count 'em TWO on that OP, now f*** *ff!!' I don't know if they were shocked at this little puny Canuck, but they broke up and two stayed. The Turk just smiled, slung his rifle and went back to his side of the buffer zone. Just then the line NCO came with a couple of troops and a report and incident statement was taken.

After I got back to our OP, me and my buddy were chatting about it and I said something like 'WTF just happened?'

After a few smokes, we had a few (nervous) laughs.
