PHIL JODREY in his state of natural suspension undoubtedly "dreaming" up his next scheme.
Some of you will know Phil has been employed as a commissionnaire at the Halifax Airport for the last number of years.
I ran into Phil while travelling throught there one day and while chatting, an elderly woman traveller approached Phil asking directions to the Duty Free Shop. Phil kindly explained she would have to go to the second level and follow the signs. The lady thanked Phil and proceeded on her way. Moments later (while we were still chatting), the lady returned in an obvious irrate state. She proceeded to chastize Phil for having sent her "all the way upstairs only to find the Duty Free Shop closed."
Phil, cool as ever and in his gravelly voice responded in proper "Royal"style...........................................................................
" well ma'am one day chicken and next day feathers."
Don't know if Phil still works there............Regards all....Eli

When I was in Cyprus in 67, I took a week R and R in the Hotel in Kyrenia, cant remember its name, I was there with Harold Butts, Hubby Hunter, and Joudrey. There were a number of Gay Brits there and one of the funniest memories is Hubby and I watching Joudrey trying to romance a few with a gourd sticking out of his fly. I think he conned a few whiskey sours before they realized he was straight. lol...Pro Patria

When one day in 1966 Phil, who was driving SDS and who ate early lunch, met a bunch of guys going to eat. He proceeded out of the kitchen and waited 5 min. We picked up our meals and sat down to eat. We were about 5 min. into our lunch when we all heard a machine gun tear up the side of the quonset. We all hit the floor when the sound suddenly stopped and it was replaced by a loud laugh HaHa ahhh HaHa. It was Phil laughing and standing there with a stick in his hand. It was him that ran down the side of the mess hall with stick in his hand.
