Hey Joe:

How the hell are ya? Glad to hear from ya, I'll definitely see you at the reunion, I tried to post a new topic under General yesterday about the reunion but couldn't figure out how to attach the map. So I sent it to the Regt Adjt and hopefully he'll get it on there for me or let me know how to do it. Anyway since I'm right here in Kingston if there is anything I can do for you or anyone out there, don't be afraid to ask. Later man!!

Hey Doug, wish I had of read this yesterday!  I was in Kingston at the museum across from the base, would have definitely came in to see you.  Was down town at the Timmy's beside the Holiday inn and there was a homeless fellow looking pretty cold and lonely, a young girl gave him her muffin which prompted me to ask if he would like a coffee to go with it. (everything happens for a reason)  I went up to get the coffee for him and approached a man in uniform at the cash.  As I was walking up there was something familiar about this Soldier and when he turned it was Capt. Reagen.  Funny how after all these years you can still recognize old comrades even with their back to you.  Anyway Doug I am in Kingston often so we need to hook up and have a java brother send me an e-mail as I do not have an established land line at this time but I check my mail as often as I can every day.  Be safe old friend.  Tim

Tim, if you were at the C&E Museum, I can look out my office window and see the place, were you talkin to a guy at the Museum by the name of Herb Postill, he's my neighbor. Anyway buddy, next time you're in town give me a shout on my Cell 613 - 540 - 2547, home 613 - 546 - 2547, or at work 613 - 541 - 5010 ext 2551. would love to get together over a coffee and shoot the shit.

Randy, after seeing how many people are coming in for the Reunion, I'm actually thinkin of sending the wife to the states to do some shopping or something for the weekend so I have the house to myself. Anyway man check my post in Regimental News Topic, it's got a list of hotels there. There's one motel right beside the base called the Highland Motel, it's about 1 minute from my house, and about a minute and a half from the ANAF. Looking forward to seeing everyone, Later man!!

Hi I don't know it was you, but I shared a room with a Doug Clarkson when I got posted to London from Gagetown, he or you was from the Niagara area. If it was you, you might rember the time they locked down the base and brought the drug sniffing dogs in. If memory serves me right, they had to take the dog outside after it sniffed your old socks in your closet.

John, how the hell's it goin? Oh Yeah, I remember that, but it wasn't an old pair of socks, it was an old Cariboo hide that I got in Hall Beach NWT, the previous June. I hadn't gotten it cured and it was in a Garbage bag. I'm pretty sure the dogs were from Customs Canada and the dogs handler, not knowing what was in the garbage bag, poked a hole in it so the dog could have a sniff, well I think that just screwed the dogs sniffer for the day. Ha Ha Ha, that was pretty damn funny. So what are you up to? Where are you living?

Randy, no the Legion isn't downtown, it's about halfway down Montreal Rd between the 401, and Downtown. In the post theat I put up about the Reunion there is a map on there with the Legion and some hotels, and the ANAF. I'm not a member of the Legion but I am at the ANAF, and I live a couple of stumbles and a crawl from the ANAF. Anyway I think everyones best bet is to book into the First Canada Inns, it's already block booked for the anniversary, the whole hotel, 75 rooms, and there is going to be a shuttle laid on from the hotel to the Legion, also it's first come first serve so if you're going to book there book soon. There are alot of other hotels in the area though. Later Randy.

Dougie, it has been to long my friend. I love this site you never know who is going to just pop up. I read your msg here a few moments ago and can tell you all about Bruce Martin. Bruce runs the MP Det out here at ASU Chilliwack, no longer in any poop, new wife , new daughter, a happy man. He just got a job with the RCMP as acivilian, I believe he has put his release paperwork in and only has a few months left in uniform. I see him almost every week as his business and mine are often connected, workwise. I havent spoken to Stu since about 2001, saw him in Orillia when I was back on a course, he is out and working corrections somewhere around Orillia/Barrie. Since you are working for the BCWO you must be on the DIN, drop me aline or give me a call, CSN 532-2597, Bruce is at 536-1199. Stay in touch.

BOB!!!

How the hell is it goin man?? Well if the last time I saw you I was saying "I do", man oh man, it has been a long time, although, I believe I was already married when the "Sherkston Incident" occurred...LOL.... Holy Crap man, well let's see, in point form, Divorced 1989, Married 1996, Divorced 1999, shacked up 2000, first child 2001 (when I'm like 41 yrs old, but very happy, she's my little angel, the best thing that ever happened to me). Yeah Aimee and I broke up just prior to going to Cyprus in '89, then I was seeing this girl in Edmonton for a while (that was a waste, and one of the bigger mistakes in my life) then in 1992 just prior to the Bn leaving London, I started seeing (not sure if you remember her) Carolyn Berry, Roger Berry's ex-wife. Well she moved to Kingston with me, and while I hated my job we fell in love with Kingston, so we bought a house just North of the base, in 1994 I went back to 1 RCR, went to Croatia 94-95, got married rigth after that tour, then over to 3 RCR in 97, and Bosnia 98-99. While we were there the Snr NCO's had RSM interviews, and RSM Frank Gratton asked me what I would like so I told him that I would like to get posted back to Kingston, because I had been in Pet since early 1994 and it was now early 1999 that 5yrs and I was no longer IR and hadn't been since '95. Well had a posting message to 1CDHSR in Kingston before getting on the plane back home, then when I get here, she says "I want a divorce". Well now here I am 9 yrs later, retired last year from the reg force and am now Class B as the Base RSM's assistant here in Kingston, with a new other half (never getting married again, and I'm pretty sure she's good with that) and a new family (she already had one) two daughters Madison 10yrs old, and Gracie 6yrs old, and I'm 47 soon to be 48 but they keep me young (but lots of the grey in the old hair and beard now!!!!LOL)

Hear from Rick much?? Didn't like that he "checked me out" on the police computer, then lectured me about drinkin and driving, and driving with my liscence suspended back in 1992 or 1993. I basically think that it was none of his F****n business, and don't believe that police have the right to go in and check out friends on their computers. I believe in a little privacy, even my brother after being a cop for 36 yrs, I didn't believe it was his right to go in and check me out, so why did Rick think that he could do that without someone getting pissed off? Anyway man, good to hear from ya Bob, and write again soon. Email d.hclarkson@sympatico.ca or phone 613-546-2547, Cell 613-540-2547 Later man!!!
