Hi MOE

Let it be known that it was me who started the 1-234-1 count. During the practice for the Queen's Guard of 1973, I couldn't get my half of the Guard to slow down to 1-23-1 so I added the count to 1-234-1 and told everybody to count to themselves (1-234-1). Well as everything goes the RSM (BC) came over and asked for a demonstration. I reminded the right half of the guard to keep silent. I gave the command to Present Arms and just like you figured it happened, one person called the time out loud 1-234-1. I didn't have time to give Shoulder Arms when I heard the RSM say in a voice so quiet you hear a mouse fart "Do you want to go to jail for changing the drill manuel" I answered "No Sir" He said "It looks good! Tell them not to call the timing out loud and we'll do it. Get Sgt Arsenault's half and we will practice it as a Guard." And so we did!!!!!!

THANK'S FOR CLEARING THE 4 COUNT UP JIM,  NOW WE NO THE ONE TO BLAME FOR US FAILING OUR DRILL LESSON'S ON THE OLD 5B COURSE ,ALL OF US DID IT ON THE 4 COUNT FROM 1RCR. IT,S STILL BETTER THEN THE 3 COUNT Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes HAVE A GREAT DAY
