I have noticed lately that there have been airborne coins and other related articles for sale on Ebay, I know there is a jumper that is buying the coins and trying to return them to the right full owner.

Thought I would give a heads up in case anyone here has lost their coin or know of someone who has.
Apparently Marlene at the airborne kit shop is also informed

I also found some of this info on commando.org

Is there any chance that these coins for sale on EBay are replicas, or from a stash yet to be issued?  The RCR kitshop has replicas of all Canadian Medals which were made locally, to be sold as replacements for lost or damaged, and it wasn't expensive to have them made.
