Would any of you old Royals have any information on Jim Buffet? Jim and I sereved together in 1 and 2 RCR. We went to Germany in 1964, I received a medical release later in Germany and returned to Canada. The last I heard Jim was in the Airborne Regiment. (Now that was a while ago) I know he was from NFLD . I was just wondering what ever happened to him ? Can anyone help me out. Thanks Ron "Trooper" Green

I served with Jim in the Airborne in the '70s. I ran into a fellow here in Hamilton, who is a relative of his. He told me that Jim is alive and well in Nfld. If I run into him again, I'll get his address for you.

Hey Don, Thanks for the picture, sure brings back old memories. Jim had a few more years in the Army than myself, you could say he took me under his wing and looked after me. I was never short money between pay days. He always had a few dollars for me . Always treated me Aces. Glad to here he is doing well. Don, you must remember a fellow named Higgins, I beleive he was stores drrver B Coy in Germany. The only guy who could bend over backwards and almost touch his head on the canteen floor. Of course he had to have a few Becks Beer in him. Thanks Don

Ron:
Your most welcome. Glad to be of service.
Don: It all worked out. A good eye on the e-mail address. It's hard to figure out how they assign them.
