Smiling Al Lounders..On New Years Eve 1961 I was a brand New LCpl, Al was the BOS. The Junior Ranks New Years party was being held in the Trocadero Mess Hall in Ipperwash. Al sent me down to check on the festivities at 2100 hrs, I didnt get back until 0200 thinking my career was done early. The Gods were with me and he gave me a break. One of many throughout my adventures.
