Jimmy the One in Ipperwash was Lt Col JA Johnston. He was one strict CO. He carried a tire pressure guage in his pocket and if your tire was up or down three pounds you were in deep poop. In fact there was a Transport Cpl some may remember, Vulch Carriere, (short for Vulture) who got a 50 buck fine for just that. On morning parade Jimmy would check a different platoon each day and if he found someone at fault on parade if the Pl Sgt hadnt
charged him already, the Sgt would get charged.

Right you are, Brother. Jim Evans, one of the founding members of the ISBA, Cyprus, 84-85.  Wink Got the picture you sent, Buzz. Thanks. We had some good golf tournaments in the mess, eh?  I wonder if they still have the memorial tournaments now that they are in Pet. Do you ever see Donny Travis in your travels? Or Willie Wyler, who used to be the Peri in London? We used to go on those Sgts mess invitationals, good times. Thanks again.
