Hi Aussie

I would love to be there but I can't. Maybe I will be able to come next year. I see some photos of you on this site and they bring back fond memories. Pat asks about you all the time. Pro Patria.

The province is returning Ipperwash Provincial Park to an aboriginal community over a decade after Dudley George was shot by a police sniper.

Aboriginal Affairs Minister Michael Bryant says the return of the park to the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation shows the Liberals are serious about building a new relationship with aboriginal people.

The provincial park will be co-managed by the government and First Nation until they figure out what to do with the land.

The brother of slain native protester Dudley George has long asked the province to hand over the land as a tribute to his brother.

George was shot to death at Ipperwash in a provincial police raid to break up a native occupation on Sept. 6, 1995.

An inquiry into his death made dozens of recommendations, which the Liberals say they will use as a "roadmap" to forge a better relationship with Ontario's aboriginals

Some of my fondest memories of service were in Ipperwash, specially on the ranges and the rapel tower. Hopefully, it will get cleaned up a bit now that peace has returned.

Mike, I do too have fond memories of Ipperwash, I recall buckethead Conrad punching a guy out for having sex in the sand dunes close to his campsite. Dave Boyd was witness to the fact.

Hi Donald,

One of the aboriginal people said today, how can they give us something that we already have ,laughing driving off. I always wonder if any one found my old Rambler in the back of the camp.

Number 10
Life is sexually transmitted.

Number 9
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

Number 8
Men have two emotions: Hungry and Horny. If you see him without an
erection, make him a sandwich.

Number 7
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use
the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Number 6
Some people are like a Slinky ... not really good for anything, but  you
still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

Number 5
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of
nothing.

Number 4
All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to
criticism.

Number 3
Why does a slight tax increase cost you $200.00 and a substantial  tax cut
saves you $0.30?

Number 2
In the '60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world  is
weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

AND THE NUMBER 1 THOUGHT FOR 2007:
We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among  the
millions and millions of cows in America, but we haven't got a clue as to
where thousands of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located.  Maybe
we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration.

And the BONUS thought for today

"Life is like a jar of jalapeños.  What you do today, might burn your ass
tomorrow".
