Hi Randy and Jim, you didn't make a man child? how many daughters. If you come to Sudbury I live in Val Caron it would be great to see you. Until I started using this site the only guy I've really kept in touch with was Sam Lavoie. Jim did you stay in London? hows retirment, do you have a hobby job now or just relaxing? This reunion coming up I understand its in Kingston but dates and location would be benificial. Talk to you soon have a good holiday season take care old timers

Dave: If you are still in contact with Sammy see if you can get him on this board. He was one character. We spent one memorable Norwegian Ex. together. Him as the platoon commanders signaler & I as the driver. I won't even mention the details of the time I took his mail up to him at NDMC. Still LMAO.
Last I heard, I believe he was working up near Ottawa.

Best Wishes: Rick

Hi Dave

No I didn't. After I was done in London I got posted to Ottawa For 5 yrs. I then took my retirement posting to Wainwright. After my posting to Wainwright, 4 years I got out I lived there til 2001. Then I moved to Medicine Hat and that's where we live now. In 2004 I had a stroke that left me  (paralyzed on the right side) and a whole lot of work on my speech. I am working hard on getting my speech back. I went from year 1 and 2 with little speech to 3 a lot better. As you see I spend lots of time on getting better. I hope that I can attend the reunion and making plans to do just that. Hope to see you there!!

Sam is doing very well, he works for the province of ontario, he's in charge of all the security for the medical facilities in the north. He lives just outside of Ottawa.
Jimmy I sincerly hope things are going well for you, I can kinda relate in a small way, I was 3000 feet underground when I had my first heart attack, I came to surface went to the hospital and was miss diagnosed, I had two more before they came to the conclussion of what it was. All is well now. Am still in the mining industry in charge of safety, looking forward on seeing you all in May.

You old bugger, I'm 50 in April, I'm kinda worried about the reunion, in my mind you're still 25 and crazy like all the others I still see them as young people. At the reunion we've all gone grey, bald and or fat ( I still have most of my hair but on the other two, oh well. I talked to Riv Kennedy yesterday he's doing well, damn did he bring back some memories, talk to you later

I agree with the old and fat but I still got lots of hair a little salted. I think the reunion will be a blast I am sure the war stories will be pretty thick.Keep in touch.

Terry, I do seem to recall that, it was just pure envy on their part you know. It would appear we all have refrained from rereational alcohol since the old days, are we getting older and wiser or just can't take the hangovers anymore.
