    LEST WE FORGET

Lest we forget the men who left,
  Their country to defend,
Lest we forget the way they died,
   To meet a bitter end.
   So young, so innocent,so brave,
They lived as you and I.
But now they rest a well fought peace,
   With ne'er a "sweet" goodbye.
Their mothers' tears have told the tale,
   Of many a lonely day.
She has no son to take her hand,
To guide her on her way.
We will remember those who died
In wars both great and small.
And thank the mothers for their sons,
   "LEST WE FORGET" them all.

   COURAGE

Courage is being afraid , but going anyway.
  Think of the soldier!
  Think of the challenge!
And all that is left behind,
  Then its off to battle,
  One can't sacrifice more.
For the families involved, and those touched by it all,
  "WE FEEL"

                                                  Billy Ray Cyrus

Just pausing to remember them all , then it is down to Legon House,
for the parade up to the cenotaph, and the Rememberance Day
ceremony in front of The Great War Memorial Hospital .
The RCR will be represented , by Eric Devlin, Reg Irvine , and yours truly.
A platoon from either 1 RCR or  3 RCR, will be coming down from
Petawawa .    "WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"  "PRO PATRIA"

Thanks for those kind words for the military families that support us.  My wife, Karolina, just saw an e-mail that could mean that I may be deployed to Afghanistan.  Keep praying for our loved ones.
