Hi Tim.

I am happy to say NO this is not the same Jack Meigs, that Ron Wardell served with in Korea.  Jack Meigs, I am refering to resides here in London, and I was talking to him yesterday November 7, 07.  We had a gathering of Royals, yesterday at The RCR, Museum for a Gold Brick Ceremony to honour Sgt Leoanrd Curtis and Cpl Larry Soroka fine Royals, layed to rest in the past year.  This ceremony was well attended with The Scotia Isle/boys in attendence making for a moving ceremony.

We gathered after the ceremony at the Grand Lodge with master of ceremonies/Grand Sword Bearer, Bob Milliken.  Bob feelling generous sprung for a couple of gallons blue enjoy by all.  An exchange of war stories and plenty of laughs had by all.  Entertainment was provided by Arman Napman, Billy Pye, Dave Boyd, and myself at Billy Pyes, residence the night before.  Old favourties were played with Rags (Bob) Dougherty leading the Vocals with Danny Boy, being voted number (1).

Pro Patria to all Royals.

Regards.

Ernie.
