Passing of Rod Sweeney

Rodney Sweeney passed away on May 6 2008 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Rod was a member of the Black Watch and 2 RCR. He had served in Cornwallis and was a member of the Corps of Commissionaires from 1994 to 1999

Enlisted 1963 Black Watch. Served with 2RCR, ! RCR, 2 CDO, Instructed Cornwallis, RSS Staff with ! NSH [N] and SD&G Highlanders. Retired 1989 from Cornwall, Ontario. {WO}  Joined Reserves in 1991 West Nova Scotia Regiment, B Coy. CSM.  CFR to Captain, Company Commander B Coy and Admin and Support Company. Retired from Reserves in 1996.

Served with Rod in Cornwallis in 77/78
