Hello all, I attended the veterans week kickoff in Peterborough yesterday and ran into some real interesting vets.  One fellow by the name of Ron Wadell was present for the memory campaign and we talked about the regiment. He served in Korea with Jack and they were closest of friends.  He had heard that Jack had passed away but had no way to confirm that. I told him that i would post this message and see what we could come up with.  So Please, anyone who knows Jack Miggs or knew him, drop me a line so i can call up our Ron Wadell and help ease his mind.  Jack was CQ in Charlie company back in the mid 80's, i was his storeman, i remember him to be a great guy, good to his troops.  Also i have Ron Wadells phone number and he has given me permission to pass it on to anyone who asks for it.

Is it possible you are getting the name Jack Miggs confused with Jack Meigs?  Jack Meigs was in 1RCR as a CQ in the mid eighties.Jack Meigs never served in Korea and is living in London , golfing among may other things and is a member of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association.
