Just to let campers know that it was one of the most relaxing 7 days that Yvonne and i had in the 6 weeks this past summer in the East Coast while in at Joe's(Aldore) camp grounds.
From the time we got at the site Joe made you feel right at home. We had found out that we had 1 or 2 beers in 1963 or 64 while in A-Dam. I was with the Watch while Joe was RCR.
Joe was very good friends with another fellow Royal at the time who was my cousin(squirrel crawford). We just happen to bump into each other while we were taking art lessons in the Dam. It was a very good night that we had in comparing the art forms. Great memories.
Joe 's lovely wife Mary also makes you feel at home although she kicked me out of her camps kitchen on the Wed.morning. I think it had something to do withJoe & i having 1 little bottle of Scotch and then just a little rye on the Tue.evening. Apparently Joe was out of commission for that day. Look him up if you are in the area for a camp over. We were only going for 4 or 5 days and ended up staying 7.
Bob & Yvonne (Nick name Bonnie)hers not mine Woodward.

Hi Bob & Bon
Thank you for the kind words, bear in mind you caught me by surprise and you were doing the pouring. Like wise, it was a relaxing week however some of those days God was answering my prayers on my request for rain. It was sure special re-acquianting after 43 yrs not seeing each other and still young enough to be able to socialize. Well Bob & Bon we are hoping to see you in Kingston next August have a great winter. Joe & Mary
