Wondering if anyone has any pictures of the 1 RCR Ball Hockey Team from 1986. We played in a league out at the Lambeth arena. We had a great team and were beating up the competition pretty bad until one of the teams started a fight with us and we were kicked out of the league. I can't remember most of the members on the team, but I remember Luciano was our goalie, we hade Mike Stevens, Craig Rowe but the rest seem to escape me (a case of sometimers, sometimes I remember and sometimes I forget). If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

What a ball hockey team it was!!!! Myself and Derek Ingersol organized the team so we could originally play in the Lambeth league. The BPero told us we would get crushed in the league however, we were one of the top teams. Remember the one opponent with Brendon Shannahan, Dino Cicerelli..we kicked their butt.
Then we went on to organize and host the first CF Regional ball hockey Championships in London. We lost the final to Trenton but EJ Burt concratulated us with some fine PEI shine in the dressing room...

Hey Dave, thanks for remembering the team. I remember practicing in the gym on week nights at first and then starting the league. If I remember correctly we won our first game 7-0 with big Luciano picking up the shut out. I also remember the other teams not being very happy we were in the league especially after the first game since we beat the previous years league winners so handily. I really can't remember to many names on the team unfortunately. I remember Mike Stevens, Luciano, yourself and Ingersoll, but the rest are a blurr. If you can fill me in, it would be greatly appreciated.

Luciano was one of those fearless goalies who took pleasure in stopping the shots even if it hurt BJ.

I dont remember too many. We had a goalie that was a pay clerk I think, also Cpl Billings. A young coy clerk who went on to work at the auto plant in Ingersoll i think.. Oh yea..... Big Chris Johnson. he scared the hell out of the league.
I think we all took it for granted back then. We were all young, in great shape, and we had 600 players to chose from.
If you remember, I twisted my ankle in the Regional Championship game so bad they put me in a cast from my toes to my knee. two weeks later they sent me to RV on cruches.. Guess what my job was? to process anyone who got hurt on RV to go home.. Go figure.

Here are a couple of pictures of the ballhockey team. Let me know if you remember any of them, I can only remember Lucy and CJ. I have also included a picture of the Lancers Hockey Team, Lucy was the goalie as well. In the first pic I'm in the front row, second from the right. Jeff McGregor
