Jim,

The only one I recognize is Aldis.  We carried that sucker around for years and I only ever saw it deployed once.  Obviously, though, it remained an item of interest during the brigade commander's annual inspection.

Looks like Al Meachem beside Bob Truax and Matty Matheson or Bob Jones to the right of Slaney.

Hi Jim:  It was great to see a shot of old Sgt "Banny" Bannister.  He was a veteran of Normandy, Holland and Germany in WWII.  He tolerated the young Sgts and CQs who were fulll of pop and vinegar and bucking for promotion.  He had fought the Panzer Grenadiers in Normandy and did not need to prove a thing to anybody.  He just wanted to finish his 25 years and get his pension.  I hope he lived for many years to enjoy it.  Regards, RT
