IT IS WITH THE MOST PROFOUND SHOCK AND SADDNESS THAT I HEAR OF DAVE MACKS PASSING,HE TRUELLY WAS AS STATED "A SOLDIERS SOLDIER". A GREAT PRIVLEDGE TO HAVE SERVED WITH HIM AND UNDER HIM, MOE REMEMBER THE PIC OF DAVE WITH HIS BOOTS UP ON THE AMBASSADORS TABLE IN THE CANADIAN EMBASSY KUWAIT???. TYPICAL DAVE MACK HUMOUR,MAY GOD REST HIS SOUL,HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN "A REGIMENTAL ICON" R.I.P.

Sad news indeed. Enjoyed soldiering with Dave and his no nonsense style. I'll always remember one of his favourite sayings when he was the CQ in 3CDO, 'We're up to our arseholes here in alligators and you want what!'. Hear he was doing something he loved when he passed on, hunting sheep.
