Who in the 60's could ever forget JA Jimmy Johnson, our CO in Ipperwash and Germany. After our term with LCol Klenavic he hit the Battalion like a storm..I,ll never forget his Ranger Training, or the time in Petawawa he tried to Americanize us by painting all our helmet liners and putting the hatbadges on the front. The Coy comd behind him is Major Cowan. There are so many stories to tell about his regime that it could be a stand alone book. I'm sure you know most of them..Rick

I'm at the end of the middle rank [closest]. I was in C Coy and in the winter and I was miserable Ahhhhhhhhh. Oh boy I could tell some real bad tales.
You know who used come out around dark and call the O.O. names? Then he'd go up to him [O.O.] and apologize in the morning. One morning he rightly caught shit cause George (No Neck) Maynard was on duty. It was you & you (I know because I was one of the you) fall in quick march and we had nobody to march us. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
