London Get Together

I was just wondering if we should try and have a get together over a weekend in the fall in London. We cold organize a happy hour at the Sgts/WO club, rent a batch of hotel rooms somewhere and just have a good time seeing old friends telling lies etc. Whats the consensus?

Hi Jerry and all who answered his post:  The RCR Association will be hosting the Regimental Birthday on Dec 21st  at the Sgts Mess, which will be a lunch.  We also hopefully will be having a Fall Dinner Dance, that will depend on the numbers when we call all members of London Branch.   We had great turn out for Pachinno on 10 July, but it takes a lot of arranging to hold a get- to -gether at the Sgts Mess and if there are not enough members planning to attend then it just can not happen.  Please all remember when you are called and plan to attend insure that you do show up     thank You     Ron

The December date, while traditional, is pretty close to Christmas and many may be reluctant to leave home with family and whatnot arriving.

May I suggest some time in October, perhaps around Kowangsan day?
