                             2nd pic maybe young Ernie puffing a smoke?Huh??
                             3rd pic maybe,hands on hip Don Kemp,and on top of carrier,Don Jollimore HuhHuh?   
                             ref.another pic you posted of Matheson.He,s a great guy,and one of my best buds

I took most of those pictures of sig' pl. and the ballons were from the family day.

I'm curious. How did you drive one of those carriers? Tiller bars?

No, not tiller bars..the Bren carrier had a large steering wheel which braked right and left.
