This is Lisa Glover, Moses's wife, I just wanted to inform you all that he is in critical condition at Brantford General Hospital ICU.  He had a heart attack yesterday and is now in a coma and on life support.  I hope that he will pull through but I need everyone to pray for him.  They say he may have some brain damage and we should know within the next 24-48 hours.  I'm sorry to burden everyone with this, I have to be at home to wait for them to run tests and to talk to my son and daughter so while waiting I thought I would let all of his old buddies know whats going on.  He is the love of my life and I don't want to lose him so pray hard ok.

Lisa, I am shocked to read this. I have already said a prayer for Moses' sake and shall do so again several times during the next couple of days. May the Lord smile upon him and you and your family through this time...

ok so here's the latest scoop.....moses is out of the coma and is breathing on his own.....coughing and moving his arms and legs around.  He's getting suctioned and boy does that piss him off and his eyes fly open and looks like he could kill the nurse lol.  So in other words he's doing a lot better......thank you all so much for the prayers and kind words.  He still has a long way to go and there could be long or short term memory loss and defecits but at least he's, in the words of the doctor," looking like he's on the road to recovery".

Lisa sorry to here the bad news on Moses's heart attack and the good news on his ongoing recovery. We served together in the late 70's in London. I also worked for many years with his late brother Eli.  Please pass on for me my best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Well Moses has been up and down today, he keeps coughing with the tube in his throat, although he is breathing on his own.  The dr. today said he was going to leave the tube in to make sure that his airway remained open but he was going to put him on some pain meds to make him more comfortable.  He was opening his eyes alot and he seems to follow voices, I think, which the dr. said was good but with his coughing he's not able to get the much needed rest to take the stress off of his brain.  The dr. said that he will probably be sedated for another day or two to see if that added rest will do him good.  I remain hopeful but not entirely optomistic that his recovery will take him to where he once was.  But whatever comes will come, and like the dr said he is progressing not going backwards so thats good.  The cat scan is showing no signs of bleeds, stroke or swelling though which is good.

I am sorry to hear about Moses, I have passed on the info at last niights O group and all in attendaqnce were shocked, I hope to get down to see him when he is well enough to accept visitors. he is a stubborn guy and I am sure he will pull thru this.

I'm sorry to hear about Moses Lisa, but he's a fighter and he'll fight his way back, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Moses giving the nurse a hard time is a very good sign.

Moses has had his tube out of his throat since Tuesday morning.  He has been talking alot, mainly about the military so his long term is good.  And he knows who I am and the kids are but then sometimes he gets confused and forgets, god I hope it gets better.  I just don't know and I'm scared.  But today to complicate things he developed a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in the lung.  Good lord what more can happen to him.  I wish I could just go to sleep and fast forward 2 weeks to see his progress.  He is the most wonderful man in the world and I need him to come home to us, whole happy and healthy.
