Yep, was the same field cap I was issued back in the battalion in '82. Was issued another one when I got to 2RCR in '95. Turned in the 'new' one when I retired last year. Still have and use ol' reliable. The guy behind me Geoff, in the red lid, you might recognize; name escapes me right now, but he was with us in Duke's. Guy behing him in t-shirt with repel rope is a fellow Newf, Roger Codner from Torbay who married my cousin from Pouch Cove. He remustered to AVN tech and is now in Shearwater with my uncle, Dick Connors. Third guy sitting from left with the beard is Jeff Caines, Kerry's bro.
