                                          THEY ARE SOLDIERS

WE are soldiers in the Canadian Army, Trained to be, all  that WE can be.

WE FIGHT FOR CANADA'S FREEDOM, And ready to meet OUR fate.

WE  volunteer to defend  the flag, OUR FRINDS, OUR COUNTRYMEN, AND ALL.,

GOD BLESS THIS GREAT COUNTRY, AND HELP US NOT TO FAIL.

FROM our country's birth, AND all these years AS WELL, MANY have been trained to be, ,the VERY best on Earth.

MANY times OUR country went to war. We MAY be involved in many more.

DURING MANY GENERATIONS, OUR soldiers , continue to enlist. Some of them will go to war and definitely be missed.

Some  will return and some WILL NOT,

TO THOSE WHO  MADE THE SACRIFICE,  DID NOT RETURN AT ALL,

WE SHALL REMBEMBER THEM, AS EACH OF YOU SHOULD DO,                                           .

Many GO to Afghanistan.  SOME WILL NOT  RETURN,

They EACH have loved ones  LEFT  behind..
and ARE  always be in there prayers, THEIR hearts and MINDS.
.

                                              PRO PATRIA

Jess: I altered your poem as you can see. I do not know whether it is what you were trying to accomplish or not. Tha altered items are those in ITALICS. You may also wish to play with it further as well.

just what I wanted George thanks a lot you did a great job.

I'm in the process of making a DVD slideshow titled Canada at war starting from the Boer war to the present day.  I need more information on the Italy campaign I found a few items and pictures of Italy but need more. 90% of the pictures I found are taking in Sicily. If you can help me I will appreciate it very much you can give me a call on my one 800-number.  Thanks again for the fixing up my poem

Hi Jess:  Glad you liked the poem correction, glad to be of help...
Yes Jess I would be only to pleased to assist in your Sicily problem as much as I can.To what extent  I do not know at this point.
If your trying to fix locations in Sicily of various items  or things, I would suggest that you first buy a Map of Sicily, if you have not already done so and we can go from there.

Should you wish to contact me my home phone is  1-519-974-5889-- Easter Daylight time..If it is of any help Jess, I also have
(Microsoft  Windows) Live Messenger c/o  rcrgeomar@sympatico.ca  If you hooked up to that we could talk  email style. Or as you say by phone if you prefer.
