Sergeant Ralph Waite, RCEME, passed away on January 28, 2006 at London, Ontario. He was 78 years of age. Ralph Waite was posted to 1 RCR from 1960 to 1969 when he was released for medical reasons. He was a highly respected member of the battalion maintenance platoon in Camp Ipperwash, Fort York, Germany and in Wolseley Barracks, London, Ontario. He helped to keep the First Battalion rolling when we had antiquated trucks and when we had the then brand new M113 APCs in Germany. Ralph Waite was a good man and a good soldier.
We will remember him.

Hi R,T,
Thank's for the notice,I remember him verry well being in COY head quarters ,spending most of the time at transport. We will not forget.
